Open Flame Devices
Candles, chafing dishes, and any other flame producing devices are considered “open flame devices.” Open flame devices carry with them the risk of unintentional fire and serious consequences.
As we move forward to ensure the care and safety of our members, the use of any open flame device is prohibited in all church buildings. Therefore, all open flame devices and/or fuel source designed to work with an open flame device, must be removed from the church. These products can be donated to a member or the community.
Barbeques may be used on church property providing they are supervised, and do not violate any local by-law.
This policy applies to all parties that have access to use the church.
